WALKING, SWIMMING & PHOTOS - 23 JAN 2012

I joined the ladies on their 7am walk. There were six of us. Where they walked I have no idea, yet! I just followed.....but it is truly beautiful and silent. You actually don't want to speak, voices are too loud.
I have also eventually discovered what the buildings are, at the entrance to our village. A school!! The children were making their way to it, and as children are, there was some interaction.......with me, of course, and I guess they were surprised, so we all had a good laugh. I waved to the teacher. The ball the boys were playing with is made of sisal. I WILL be walking every morning from now on. My heart sang as I made my way home, as I ate my breakfast and as I vacuumed my house!

I took myself off for a swim at the pool, in the gentle rain. I was the only one swimming.

There were some local little people and youths on my way home who were just too happy to have their photos taken. There we were, all clustered around my camera so that I could show them the pics! I love their smiles which is a universal language! As I turned up the path to my home, I looked back and there they were waving veloma! All this took place before 10am!
Our local children, smiling happily for the photographer!
The youths & lads!
